How do I create my first course?
Go to Course Builder, upload a training video, document, or audio file, and DayOne will generate a structured learning course in under 2 minutes. You can also combine multiple source types.
My course generation failed — what should I do?
Try a shorter or smaller source file first. If the issue persists, check your internet connection and retry. For persistent errors, contact support@dayone.cards with the error details.
How do I assign courses to my team?
On Starter plans and above, open a course detail page and click 'Assign to Team'. You can select team members from your organization. They'll be able to access the course from their library.
Can I edit a course after it's generated?
Yes — you can rename the course title and description from the course detail page by clicking the pencil icon. To regenerate content, create a new course from the builder with improved source material.
What file types are supported?
Videos (MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, AVI, and 20+ other formats), documents (PDF, Word, CSV), audio (MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, AAC), and plain text notes.
How does the free trial work?
New accounts get a 14-day free trial with full Starter features. No credit card required. After the trial, you can continue on the free plan or upgrade to keep premium features.
How do I reset my password?
On the login page, click 'Forgot password?' to receive a reset email. Follow the link to set a new password. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder.
How is my learning progress tracked?
DayOne tracks your progress per course — including cards completed, quiz scores, XP earned, and time spent. You can see your overall stats on your Profile page and per-course analytics on each course detail page.
